Melissa Orion

Melissa Orion is an Inspire Captain, rallying community to create next level experience around the world. Embracing her training in visual, performance art and improv theater, she prescribes to a mentality of 'living the bliss of the moment' while making the next moment even brighter.

 

Orion is a painter, singer, actress, writer, designer, and laughter enthusiast, currently stationed in Ashland OR.  She creates INSPIRING entertainment for all the senses. She is also the Captain of 'A Streetcar Named Inspire', a mobile inspiration unit which catalyzes community creative potential.

 

'Melissa Orion is a Professional Inspirer born of stardust and magic! She has honed the art of living an IMPROV LIFE and is dedicated to sharing her unique brand of inspiration with the far reaches of the Universe.'

 

Orion is a mother to an 13 year old boy named Zen and 3 year old boy, Jackson  They create many projects together in a self designed Home'scool, that entails travel, art, music and community service gifts.

 

Born in Portland Oregon, Orion spent much of her time outdoors and in the company of an eclectic array of musicians, circus performers and community activists turned architects.  She has worked directly within the festival creation worlds and has collaborated with all sorts of artists musically and visually.

 

Orion entered into her self designed Super-Human training program at the age of 24, where she dedicated two years exclusively to the 'honing and owning' of her skills as a performance artist and community organizer.  As the years flew on 2 becoming 4, she remained committed to herself as the sole project, staying out of the 'boxes' of relationships with others or working for someone else.  Orion acquired new skills in many worlds of study, attending acting school, working with a vocal trainer, performing in an all woman's dance troupe, co-writing, co-staring and co-directiing a satirical comedy variety show, and building a Street Car Named Inspire (a 'Mobile Inspiration Unit' that catalyzes community creativity)

 

She is now and forever dedicated to being an ambassader of joy through any means possible!
